21 y/o F with 1 day of pointer finger pain. 4/4 Kanavel's signs - pain with passive extension, percussion tenderness, sausage digit, flexion posture of finger. Consultant is "unimpressed" and wants the patient on observation. Waterbath POCUS performed and demonstrates a fluid collection between the tendon and the bone (digit on left).
