Soft Tissue - Soft Tissue Foreign Body

A patient presented to the emergency department following puncture by the tip of a palm frond. A puncture wound was noted with a palpable object under the skin. Soft tissue ultrasound was performed which demonstrated evidence of superficial foreign body as noted by the small hyperechoic structure with associated shadowing.
